By age 12, Mike found himself on new residential construction sites sweeping up debris and contributing to his family’s home building and land development business near Charlottesville, Virginia.
After high school and serving in the U.S. Navy, Mike returned home and rejoined his father’s business as a carpenter’s apprentice. Years later he relocated to the Richmond Region, and his tradesman career continued as a punch out and trim carpenter for local residential building contractors.
Ten plus years of field experience proved a passion for working directly with Greater Richmond’s home and property owners. So in 2022, the journey to finish carpentry licensure and small business ownership began.
Combining a love of the James River, kayaking and local live music, Mike has cultivated a carpentry niche and strong partnerships with clients, subcontractors, and fellow tradespeople in Central Virginia.
He currently resides in Goochland County with his wife, three children, two dogs, and beloved cat, Scout.
We look forward to helping with your next carpentry project.
